ABOUT US

Hi, I’m your local lash bestie, Hannah Shin! I’m a licensed esthetician and 10x certified master lash artist / educator with a deep passion for lash artistry. My journey began in 2016 in Nashville, TN, where I fell in love with creating lashes that not only enhance natural beauty but also boost confidence. Whether it's classic extensions, voluminous mega lashes, or soft, wispy curls, my goal is always to make my clients feel their absolute best.

What drives me is a constant love for learning and growing in this ever-evolving industry. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training with incredible brands like Novalash and LashBox LA, refining my skills and staying ahead of the latest trends and techniques.

In 2022, I took the exciting leap to Atlanta, GA, where I’ve been fortunate to bring my unique style and expertise to a vibrant new community. It's been such a rewarding experience to create beautiful, long-lasting lash looks and be part of Atlanta’s dynamic beauty scene.

Beyond perfecting lashes, I’m passionate about mentoring fellow lash artists. I believe education is the key to empowering others and raising the standard of beauty in our industry. Watching beginners grow and thrive in their craft is truly one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge, help others feel beautiful, and support everyone I work with on their journey to confidence. I can’t wait to meet all my lash besties out there and support you every step of the way whether I’m enhancing your lashes or mentoring an up-and-coming artist, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

What You Need to Know Before Booking

While eyelash extensions are a beautiful and safe enhancement for many, they are not suitable for everyone.

At Lash 101, we prioritize your lash health above all else. We’re not just in it for the money—we truly care about the well-being of your natural lashes! In some cases, we may need to turn away clients if certain conditions apply, as we want to ensure the best results and avoid any damage.

Please take a moment to carefully review the following guidelines before booking your appointment to ensure eyelash extensions are the right fit for you.

Collapsible content

1. Active Lash Loss or Thinning

If you are experiencing significant lash loss or thinning, eyelash extensions may not be appropriate until your natural lashes are in better condition.

2. Very Sensitive or Allergic Eyes

If you have sensitivities or allergies to adhesives or certain products used during the application process, eyelash extensions may not be recommended.

3. Severe Eye Conditions or Infections

Conditions such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, or any active eye infections will prevent us from applying eyelash extensions. We want to ensure your eyes are completely healthy before proceeding.

4. Excessive Rubbing or Tugging of Lashes

If you have a habit of rubbing your eyes or pulling on your lashes, extensions may not be the right choice, as this can lead to lash damage or premature shedding.

5. Frequent Exposure to Water, Steam, or Sweat

If you are frequently exposed to water, steam (such as saunas or hot tubs), or intense sweat (such as excessive exercise), eyelash extensions may not adhere properly or last as long.

6. Pregnancy or Recent Medical Treatments

Some medical conditions or treatments, including recent pregnancy, chemotherapy, or other health-related procedures, can affect how well eyelash extensions will bond or stay in place.

7. Unrealistic Expectations

Eyelash extensions are meant to enhance your natural lashes, not to create a completely different look. If you have unrealistic expectations or are seeking an extreme look that goes beyond the health and limits of your natural lashes, they may not be the best option for you.

8. Inconsistent Aftercare or Lash Maintenance

Eyelash extensions require proper aftercare to maintain their appearance. If you’re not able to follow the recommended care routine (avoiding oil-based products, brushing lashes, etc.), extensions may not last as long.

9. Underlying Health Conditions Affecting Lash Growth

If you have health conditions such as hormonal imbalances or autoimmune diseases that affect lash growth, eyelash extensions may not hold as well or may cause further damage.
